Overview

This project will focus on completing WAQR and add ease of use features like favorites, user specified home areas for web based business users. For content creators, the client tools (Design Studio and Report Designer) will be able to edit WAQR created reports, support metadata driven queries and build sub reports. As for system adminstrators, it will allow remote adminstration of configuration settings, control of system resources and components, monitoring of system errors and management of data sources on the Pentaho BI server.

This release of the Pentaho BI platform will include releases of the Report Designer 1.6, Design Studio 1.6, Pentaho Metadata Editor 1.6, Pentaho OS Server 1.6, and Pentaho SE Server 1.6. Additionally, the release will incorporate Kettle 2.5, Mondrian 2.3, and JFreeReport 0.8.9.

Release Number

The Release Candidate and GA release number will be 1.6.0.xxxxx.  Milestone releases will be 1.5.0.xxxxx.
