JUnit is a unit testing framework for the Java programming language. Pentaho bases its server code coverage testing on JUnit test cases provided by the developers of the code.

There are several different methods of executing JUnit test cases in the Pentaho BI Server. Each provides insight and test coverage suited to the method in which you are working - either running the server as a consumer or user, working in the platform as a developer or just testing the suite in any role.
