Thank you for purchasing a subscription to the Pentaho Open BI Suite. As part of your subscription, Pentaho provides you with additional management services features designed to make it easier for you to deploy, configure, and maintain your Pentaho solutions. This guide contains information about the Management Services Console, a standalone utility with a thin client interface that enables you to configure and administer one or more Pentaho deployments. Before you install the console, read this guide for an overview of management console features and for information about what is included in the installation zip file.

It is assumed that you, the reader, have working knowledge of the Pentaho Pre-configured Installation (PCI), and good understanding of system administration, relational databases, Web applications, and LDAP.
